Directly south of the National Park, on the Plymouth/Exeter road is the small town of Ivybridge, another good centre with easy access not only to Dartmoor along the River Erne, but also the Villages of the South Hams.
 
Ivybridge is a beautiful place and well worth a visit it's also home of pop band The Days.
